Preparation of the concrete is crucial when installing floor coatings. Improperly prepared concrete floors will surely guarantee floor coating failures.

No matter how expensive the coating – if the floor hasn’t been prepped, the coating will fail or at very least, deteriorate quickly. Shot blasting and diamond grinding are the preferred methods of surface preparation by most floor coating manufacturers.

For all of our floors we either shot blast or grind and we hand grind all perimeter edges and around any pillars of fixed objects.  Unless otherwise arranged, we will always fill cracks and small divots prior to coating. Larger repairs will be quoted.
